In this medieval fantasy game you'll have to battle four other lords for the throne of Britain in the year of the our Lord 1268.

Lords of the Realm is a really good and entertaining strategy game. First you choose a colour and a coat of arms. You then start out with one shire and, depending on the level for difficulty, some crops, a small herd of cattles, some peasants, and very few other resources. Your main focus is to develop and expand your shire - which is easily archieved if you keep your serfs happy by making sure they've food on the table, and by relying on mercenaries for war waging. Lords of the Realm is primarily about managing your shires - the agricultural aspect is very accentuated and the sole foundation of a prosperous kingdom and hopefully the throne of Britain.
